Behind The Design - "Caged Bird"

Ever felt stuck dealing with toxic environments, work, friends, habits and etc.?
I know all of us experience it at some point in our lives. There's no escaping in that. 

This tee is a representation of being stuck dealing with that toxicity and escaping from it. And once you escape, success, growth and happiness awaits you on the other side. 

Behind the Design

At the center of the artwork is a dove that represents You, the one wearing the tee. Or perhaps you're dealing with toxicity in your life. You are trapped, trying to fly and escape but there is no way out. The dove outside of the cage is also You. The twist is that it's your future self looking back at you. Yeah, it's looking back at your past self (current self), reflecting on how far you've come. There's a subtle detail with the dove outside the cage that I'll share with you. It may be hard to spot but the dove outside the cage is bigger than the one in the cage. This was done on purpose to illustrate the growth that happens once you leave that toxicity behind (in this case, the environment). 

The Message

If you ever find yourself stuck dealing with toxicity, find a way to escape from it. It may be difficult but there's always gonna be a way out. Your escape plan might not be ideal but if it's gonna get you out of that toxicity then why not take a chance? Because once you're out, you're on a path to greater success, happiness and growth. And once you get out and actually start LIVING, you'll perhaps look back at all of that toxicity with a sense of pride. I know how it all feels, trust me. I've gotten out of a toxic relationship and a toxic workplace myself. Wasn't easy and so much was uncertain. But nothing compares to that feeling of freedom once you're out. So for whoever is dealing with toxicity, you got this and a better life is waiting for you. You just have to build that courage to take that leap.
