Behind The Design - "Light At The End"

Have you ever felt hopeless at one point in your life?

I'm sure every one of us have at least once in our lives. 

The phrase "There is light at the end of the tunnel" was a massive inspiration for this tee's graphic. It is very fitting especially with the ongoing pandemic. It seems rather endless. Some of us are really concerned, afraid to go out, or even separated from their loved ones ever since the pandemic happened. Some of us, maybe could care less about what is going on. But even if this challenging times don't effect some of us in a great deal, perhaps we have our own personal struggles.

These personal struggles could be anything. Just anything that creates this feeling of hopelessness inside you. But always know that the dark times are not permanent and that things will get better. There truly is "light at the end of the tunnel". So keep going, push through the dark times and you will eventually get to the "light" at the end. 

Breaking down the design

The black lines represent the dark times we go through in our lives. The white space, represent the good times we go through in our lives. The abstract figure in the middle with the shadow is You. The person walking through life. Full of good times and dark times because that's what life is right? It's not all good nor it's all bad. And as we go through our lives, we may have a period of time where we feel hopeless. It's completely normal. But like I said earlier, there will always be "light at the end". 

So why the silhouette of a person? 

Well, what a better way to portray the fact that we all share a feeling hopeless at one point in our lives by adding a silhouette of a person while having an abstract figure representing "You" within the silhouette.

The message is that every one of us go through a time where we may feel hopeless. So in a way, the silhouette represents all of us while it also being a personal message to the person wearing the tee. What's great is that the tee can be many things. It could be a reminder to the person who has fought through the dark times and saw the "light" at the end. Or perhaps, someone is currently going through a dark time and it serves as a reminder to not give up.

Better yet, when you stop and think about it, I think it's somewhat comforting to think that all of us are united with this one phrase. With this simple graphic on a tee.
